"Isulong ang breastfeeding tama,sapat at exclusibo". This is the theme of our school right now for celebrating Nutrition Month this July. Breastfeeding with an infant or baby with breast milk directly from the mothers breast rather than the baby battle or a container. As I know breastfeeding to a child is recommended that mother should be breast milk thre infant for six month and can continue for two years or more without the addition of any formula or solid food. Some mother are likely influence by what they have seen or read by there own culture and undoubtedly by their family and friends. Human breast milk is the healthiest for babies. Breastfeeding also help us to prevent sickness or disease to our baby. Artificial breastfeeding is associated to more deaths. Breastfeeding is full of factors,like nutrients,iron, vitamins that helps the babies development. This could not be replicate with formula feed or bottled milk. Because breastfeed is full of nutrients from the mothers bloodstream and body stores. The anti-bodies that make the baby start a new life. This is also aknowledge closer bond between the baby and the mother. The warmth of the mothers breast and the skin to skin contact helps to provide comfortable and safe environment for the child that is simply imposibe to replicate with a bottled milk... :)
